Physical properties and processing behaviour

At ANSERS, we have a broad range of partners and a great network supporting us for physical testing of our samples. Migration tests, tensile strength, determination of Natrium content, Oxygen content, etc., are a few of the possibilities we offer through our preferred network. Surface analysis

Our broad equipment range allows us to answer your questions regarding the surface of your samples. 
We have several surface-associated techniques available in the lab including: digital microscopy, scanning-electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDX), but also atomic force microscopy for nanoimaging.

Additive analysis

Using advanced extraction methods, we will help you with your questions related to additives in masterbatches, plastic films, fibers, etc. 

We can determine precisely the additive content using state-of-the-art HPLC methods but also assess the degree of protection additives bring to your product by thermal methods (OIT measurements) or accelerated ageing (Bandol wheel).  Example of Chimassorb 944 determination by HPLC


Consultancy

Is aimed at helping customers to find the best solutions to problems linked to products, polymers and processing. We propose adequate chemical and physical testing possibilities. We are supported by a network of research institutes, scientific laboratories and universities.

ANSERS also offers support in the field of the additivation of polymers through RVT Consulting/Roberto Todesco. This consultancy goes from recommendations of stabilizers, antistatics, antifogs and dispersing agents for specific applications to interpretation of results obtained in accelerated (e.g. in a BANDOL WHEEL) and natural weathering and solving additives related problems.
