High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)

The HPLC technique is a separating or a preparation technique for chemicals in solution. After chemical extraction, the molecules in the liquid phase are separated on a separating column (several are available in the lab). This technique is used in the lab using standard methods to dose and recover the concentration of polymer additives (antioxidant, UV stabilizers, slip-agents, etc.) from the polymer matrix.
